Home gardeners, farmers, tree changers, educators, parents, home schoolers, young people - whether you're an absolute beginner with a brown thumb, planning your move to the country, an experienced agriculturalist, or just interested in the healthiest of lifestyles - this conference is for you.
D'Sozo camp is a very unique opportunity for youth to be involved in mission service. The primary focus of camp is christian help-work, music production, canvassing (literature evangelism) and door-to-door community surveys.
As Jesus was ministering in the carpenters shop Ellen White tells us that He was often found raising His voice in song to God. She says that those living in Nazareth would often here His voice and although discouraged by a hard day and the trials of life, they would feel their burdens lifted and their hearts cheered by the melody. His songs brought their mind away from themselves and to their heavenly home.
Yesterday our group went for a picnic and walk in Olinda, wanting to enjoy the colours that autumn brings. As we walked, we got caught in a heavy downpour and had to take cover under a tree that barely kept us dry.
While we waited to make a run for the cars, we spent the time singing praises to God, and saw passers by stopping to listen in as we sang.
Though the day was cold and wet, the beauty of nature and company of friends were enough to cheer the heart.
"The followers of Christ are to be the light of the world; but God does not bid them make an effort to shine... He desires that their souls shall be imbued with the principles of heaven; then, as they come in contact with the world, they will reveal the light that is in them." (MH p. 36)
When trials come, or life seems dull and dreary and you're weary from labour, what songs of happiness are you lifting to God? You may find that as you sing, others may stop to listen.

Conquering Mt Torbreck
We spent the end of our Sabbath the other week climbing Mt Torbreck. The path was steep and sometimes a bit narrow, but the view at the top made the journey worth it. Some were even mentioning on the path down forgetting the steepness of the climb.
A little reminder that our journey heavenward may not always be easy, but the end is certainly worth each trial. So worth it that we'll try to think back and find ourselves forgetting the ruggedness of the way.
Heaven is cheap enough friends!

The Maker Heals Program Running Once Again!
It's been a blessing to have a group join us on the property after months of waiting for restrictions to allow. We have just finished our second full day of fasting, learning ways to change our lifestyle to help our physical body, and of course, pointing us to our Creator. The weather has been beautiful, allowing our guests to fully enjoy the walks and garden, even being able to have our homegrown raspberries for one of their fasting meals.
Tree work is picking up
Since the lifting of COVID restrictions, we've seen an increase in quote requests and tree jobs which are keeping us busy. We are very grateful for the work and thank the Lord for providing for our needs.
